First you need to register your premises you do this on a form (EX 103) you can either ring HM revenue and customs on 0191 2011768
or use there web site www.hmrc.gov.uk

The form is very straightforward you need to fill in your full name and address and that you will be using straight veggie oil and that you will be storing it in jerry can (duty is payable before you can use it)

They will then send you a letter with a booklet 179E explaining laws and rates of duty - the most important part to you will be the rate of duty it is
